Accra: Police have identified the suspect involved in a fatal car accident on Dzanie Ashie Street in East Legon as Salifu Amoako. The collision, which occurred earlier this week, involved a saloon car driven by Amoako crashing into another vehicle, leading to two fatalities and several injuries. According to Ghana News Agency, the accident resulted in both vehicles catching fire and being burned beyond recognition. Investigations are currently ongoing to determine the specifics of the crash, including the cause and any contributing factors. The police statement highlighted that the suspect driver, Amoako, along with other survivors, is receiving medical treatment. One of the survivors has already been treated and discharged. Authorities have moved the bodies of the deceased to the morgue, where they will undergo preservation and autopsy procedures to aid in the investigation.
