“Police officer stabbed in Bardo is in critical condition” (medical source)

“The police officer who was stabbed Wednesday morning in Bardo is in critical condition,” head of the cardio-vascular surgery department at the Rabta hospital Raouf Denguir told TAP.

A man, on Wednesday morning, seriously injured a police officer on the neck and another officer in the head, after attacking a traffic patrol in Bardo with a knife, according to a statement from the Ministry of the Interior.

The Public Prosecutor’s Office ordered the perpetrator to be held in police custody and hand him over to the National El Gorjani Terrorist Crime Unit.
