Presidency of Republic pays tribute to defunct Mohamed Sayah

The Presidency of the Republic announced Thursday the death of Mohamed Sayah, politician and former minister of Habib Bourguiba.

The Presidency of the Republic commended the high patriotic sense and sincere militancy of the deceased, recalling his tireless devotion to Tunisia and defence of its invulnerability.

“With the disappearance of Mohamed Sayah, Tunisia loses one of its brave children,” reads a Presidency of the Republic press release.

The Presidency pays tribute to a man who helped build a modern state.

All his life, he was one of the most faithful to leader Habib Bourguiba and his historiographer, the same source specified.
