President Saied addressed the conversion of loans into investments, noting the challenges faced by the Tunisian people in benefiting from such funds, many of which have not served their intended purpose. He stressed the need for new visions based on freedom and justice to achieve stabilit y and security. German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul underscored the enduring partnership between Germany, the European Union, and Tunisia. He reaffirmed Germany's commitment to strengthening cooperation and expanding partnership prospects, particularly as the two countries mark their 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations. Wadephul's visit highlighted the importance of economic relations, with Germany serving as a significant market for Tunisian exports and opportunities for trade expansion. The German Foreign Minister also highlighted the human and social connections, noting the contributions of Tunisians in Germany to both societies. He stressed the significance of development cooperation in areas such as vocational training, energy transition, water management, and digitalization, commending the new agreements signed during his visit.
