Tunis: President Kais Saied met on Thursday afternoon at Carthage Palace with Javier Puig Saura, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Tunisia, who paid a farewell visit to the Head of State at the end of his mission in the country. The President of the Republic emphasized the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation in all fields to serve the common interests of both countries. According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, President Saied expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the Spanish ambassador to further consolidate the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two nations. The President acknowledged the ambassador's role in strengthening ties during his tenure. The Spanish ambassador, Javier Puig Saura, highlighted the depth of the shared ties between Spain and Tunisia, praising the course of bilateral cooperation. He reiterated his country's commitment to further developing its relations with Tunisia across all fields for the mutual benefit of the two friendly peoples.
