Carthage: President Kais Saied presided on Monday afternoon, the 26th day of Ramadan, at Carthage Palace, over a ceremony honouring winners of the National Qur'an Memorisation Competition. The event opened with a recitation from the Holy Qur'an, before the President of the Republic presented awards and certificates to the top participants. According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, the ceremony was attended by Mufti of the Republic, Hichem Ben Mahmoud, Religious Affairs Minister Ahmed Bouhali, President of the National Qur'an League Mohamed Machfar, and Sheikh Mondher Jeddi.
