Tunis: President Kais Saied met on Monday at the Carthage Palace with Belgium's Ambassador to Tunisia François Dumont, who paid him a farewell visit to mark the end of his mission in Tunisia, reads a Presidency of the Republic press release. According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, the meeting was an opportunity for President Saied and Ambassador Dumont to discuss the bilateral relations between Tunisia and Belgium. They reviewed the achievements made during Dumont's tenure and explored ways to continue strengthening ties between the two countries. Ambassador Dumont expressed his gratitude for the cooperation he received from Tunisian authorities during his time in Tunisia. President Saied, in turn, acknowledged Dumont's efforts in fostering collaboration and dialogue between Tunisia and Belgium.
