Tunis: President Kais Saïed met on Wednesday at Carthage Palace with Speaker of the Assembly of People's Representatives (ARP), Brahim Bouderbala, and Speaker of the National Council of Regions and Districts (CNRD), Imed Derbali. The meeting underscored the importance of legislative institutions in the ongoing national liberation efforts. According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, the President emphasized that the struggle for national liberation is pursued on multiple fronts. He highlighted the critical role that legislative bodies play in this process. The meeting served as a platform for discussing the natural differences in approaches and positions among lawmakers, with the President asserting that these differences are acceptable as long as the shared goal remains the establishment of a strong and irreversible national foundation. The discussions also focused on essential priorities such as social justice and the need for innovative solutions to address issues like unemployment, poverty, and deprivation .
