President of Republic Tasks Engineer Ali Ben Hammoud with Forming Team to Find Urgent Solutions in Gabes

Tunis: President Kais Saied met on Saturday at Carthage Palace with petrochemical engineer Ali Ben Hammoud, a graduate of the Shanghai University of Chemical Industry in the People's Republic of China. The President tasked him with forming a working team to quickly implement immediate solutions while awaiting long-term strategic solutions in Gabes and across the country. According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, at the start of the meeting, the president praised Ben Hammoud's unlimited dedication and strong sense of national responsibility, alongside other Tunisian experts. When called upon to address the environmental situation in Gabes, he did not hesitate for a moment to answer the call. The Head of State also commended the awareness and engagement of the Tunisian people everywhere in the national liberation struggle on all fronts, confronting various corruption networks and those who have pretended to be reformers while, in reality, contributing to destruction and the waste of public funds. Their object ives, no longer hidden, have been to dispose of the country's wealth, institutions, and public facilities. President Kais Saied extended his greetings to the people of Gabes for standing united not only with the security forces but also for teaching a lesson repeatedly in thwarting blatant attempts to exploit their suffering. He recalled meeting on several occasions with young people from Gabes who presented scientific and practical solutions for the environmental situation, which were ignored at the time by those peddling illusions and engaging in corruption. These individuals continue to pursue their misguided ambitions, causing further disruption and tension. The president concluded by emphasising that the term 'hogra' (contempt or disregard) in everyday language must completely disappear, not only in speech but also in reality and implementation. Tunisians have a legitimate right to dignity, and their heads will remain held high despite the schemes of conspirators both inside and outside the country.
