El oueslatia: President Kas Saed paid a visit to El Oueslatia, governorate of Kairouan, where he inspected mineral water production and bottling units to assess their workflow and examine any impediments to distribution, as announced by the Presidency in a press release.

According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, the President's next stop was the Nabhana dam in the delegation of Sbikha, where he evaluated the state of water resources and discussed related use and management issues. In the subsequent leg of his tour, President Saed visited the delegation of Kondar in the governorate of Sousse, as well as the regions of Borj Erras, Salakta, and Sidi Alouane in the governorate of Mahdia, where he met with citizens to hear their concerns and aspirations.

President Saed emphasized the importance of accountability, stressing that the Tunisian people have the right to demand it given their ongoing struggles. He stated that state institutions should not be used as waiting rooms or for simple accounting processes. He acknowledged the patience and patriotism of the citizens, especially amid water and electricity cuts during the heatwave, and noted their awareness of attempts to incite tension.

Regarding mineral water shortages in retail stores, President Saed revealed that over 80,000 bottles had been seized from a warehouse and redistributed across the market. He condemned "criminal" acts such as the deliberate disruption of water mains and electrical cables.

The President affirmed that the country would continue on the path determined by the Tunisian people, despite challenges like corruption and the mismanagement of financial resources.
