President Saïed Commends Cuban Ambassador as Her Mission Concludes

Tunis: President Kaïs Saïed on Friday afternoon received Cuba's Ambassador to Tunisia Máriem Martínez Laurel, who paid a farewell visit to him at the end of her mission. The President of the Republic commended the efforts exerted by the Cuban Ambassador to further foster friendship and cooperation relations between Tunisia and Cuba. According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, President Saïed affirmed Tunisia's willingness to keep scaling up bilateral cooperation, notably in the fields of health, education, training, cultural exchange, tourism, and pharmaceutical production. For her part, the Cuban Ambassador voiced her profound thanks and gratitude to the President of the Republic for the continuous support and consideration she has received throughout her mission in Tunisia, enabling her to discharge her duties in the best possible conditions and to further strengthen bilateral relations in the mutual interest of the two countries and peoples.
