Tunis: President Kais Saied held a phone call on Friday afternoon with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to extend his heartfelt condolences following the tragic incident that occurred earlier on Friday in the Algerian province of Boumerdès, which claimed numerous lives. According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, President Saied expressed his prayers for God's mercy upon the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the accident. The statement was issued by the Presidency of the Republic. In their conversation, both leaders reaffirmed the strength of the longstanding ties between Tunisia and Algeria across all fields. They also emphasized their shared commitment to further strengthening and deepening cooperation between the two nations.
