The Cabinet meeting chaired by President Kais Saied Thursday examined the issue of criminal reconciliation, justice and confiscated assets.

The Cabinet reviewed the following draft decree-laws:

– A draft decree-law establishing a provisional Supreme Judicial Council

– A draft decree-law providing general amnesty for crimes relating to the issuance of bad checks

– A draft decree-law amending law No. 2004-72 of August 2, 2004 relating to energy management

– A draft decree-law amending and supplementing law No. 1994-86 of July 23, 1994 relating to the distribution channels of agricultural and fisheries products

During the meeting, President Saïed reaffirmed his commitment to the respect of the law and international conventions on human rights and fundamental freedoms.
