President of the Republic Kais Saied, on Friday, received a phone call from Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting made it possible to stress the shared will to boost bilateral cooperation, reads a press release of the Presidency of the Republic.

The Head of State expressed deep thanks to King Salman for providing support to Tunisia in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, which consolidates the bonds of fraternity and solidarity between the two nations, the same source said.

King Salman of Saudi Arabia welcomed the steps taken the President of the Republic, reiterating his country’s readiness to support Tunisia in all areas and stand alongside the Tunisian people.
