President Saïed Stresses Importance of Social Justice in Finance Law

Carthage:President Kaïs Saïed presided over a Council of Ministers meeting to discuss the country's current situation, the draft finance law, and the upcoming year's economic budget.

According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, President Saïed emphasized that investment requires a socially stable environment based on justice and equity. He stated that addressing citizens' needs across all sectors is a priority.

The draft finance law aims to promote social justice and reduce the tax burden. President Saïed remarked that differing opinions on the law's content are normal, provided they do not harm national interests or infringe on citizens' rights to a dignified life.

He highlighted that citizens should not be seen as "mere numbers" but as human beings with natural rights that must be protected. Officials are urged to remove barriers while considering the sacrifices of martyrs and the aspirations of the Tunisian people.

President Saïed noted that the Tunisian people anticipate concrete achievements to meet their expectations. He warned those who think they can blackmail the State that they are mistaken.
