Cairo: Prime Minister Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri met on Wednesday, at the headquarters of the Tunisian Embassy, with members of the Tunisian community living in Egypt.
According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, the Prime Minister conveyed to the Tunisian community the greetings of the President of the Republic, as well as his gratitude for their ongoing efforts to uphold the country's image and contribute to strengthening ties of communication, trust, and cooperation between Tunisia and Egypt.
Zenzri also took the opportunity to pay tribute to Tunisians Abroad who consistently demonstrated patriotism and commitment to defending Tunisia's interest in their host countries.
Recalling the strong reputation enjoyed by Tunisian professionals abroad, the Prime Minister reaffirmed Tunisia's commitment to making better use of their expertise and know-how, promising to involve them more in national projects.
She further underscored that Tunisia's strategic choice is to invest in human capital in order to meet challenges and fulfill the aspirations of the Tunisian people.
For their part, members of the Tunisian community reiterated their commitment to promoting Tunisia's image abroad, pledging to launch projects aimed at boosting the economy and creating new jobs.
The meeting was also attended by the Ministers of Economy and Planning, Trade and Export Development, as well as the Tunisian Ambassador to Egypt and several senior Prime Ministry officials.
