Progress rate of manual and automatic vote sorting has reached 70 pc (ISIE)

– “70 pc of manual and automatic vote sorting operations have been carried out so far,” Riadh Bouhouch, member of the Independent High Authority for the Elections (ISIE) said Monday.

Speaking to TAP at the Convention Centre in Tunis, Bouhouch reported that the preliminary results confirm the success of the independent lists in several constituencies with a 50% progress rate compared to partisan lists.

He further pointed out that several errors relating to manual sorting had been corrected, indicating that automatic sorting was accurate and in line with international standards.

The preliminary results of the municipal elections will be announced from Monday at 2 p.m.
