ACCRA: Promasidor Group has announced a major leadership change as part of its strategic efforts to enhance operations and foster growth in the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) region. Mr. Festus Tettey, the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Promasidor Ghana, has been appointed CEO of ECOWAS, excluding Nigeria, effective immediately. According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Tettey will manage Promasidor's operations across multiple West African countries, including Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Cote D'Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo. The leadership change aligns with Promasidor's aim to drive growth in the region while maintaining a focus on quality food product manufacturing, a field in which Promasidor Ghana has been active for 25 years. Additionally, Mr. Samir Sadaoui has been appointed as the new CEO for Ghana, starting January 6, 2025. Mr. Sadaoui brings considerable experience from his previous roles , having served as the Commercial Director for Promasidor Algeria and Ghana. During his tenure, he achieved significant commercial success and contributed to the brand's growth in these regions. In a corporate communique, Promasidor Group praised Mr. Tettey for his contributions to the growth of Promasidor Ghana. His previous roles included positions such as Sales and Marketing Director in Ghana and Commercial Director in Nigeria. Under his leadership, Promasidor Ghana saw significant development, particularly in expanding its flagship Cowbell brand into various beverage markets.
