Qatar’s “Aspire Zone”, specialising in sports services (training, coaching, sports medicine and related services …) has expressed its willingness to invest in Tunisia.

The company aims to expand its investments in Tunisia to become a regional hub in the field of sports services and sports medicine for the benefit of Tunisia, Arab, African and European countries, President of Legal Affairs and Investment in Aspire Zone, Nayef Nabil Al-Kuwari, said during his meeting with Minister of Development, Investment and International Co-operation, Zied Laadhari.

He added that the strategic position of Tunisia and the competence of its human resources will promote the success of this project in Tunisia.

Laadhari, for his part, emphasised that this type of export-oriented and high value-added service projects respond to the national development strategies and will enable Tunisia to become a platform for economic activity, investment and services to Africa, the Arab region and Europe.

The Minister reviewed the main lines of the law on investment, particularly in terms of incentives, highlighting the readiness of his department to support companies and co-ordinate with the different technical departments of the ministries concerned, to promote the progress in project implementation.
