Raouaa Tlili wins Tunisia’s first gold medal at World Para Athletics Championships

Tunisia’s Raouaa Tlili (discus throw F41) Saturday won a gold medal at the World Para Athletics Championships London 2017 (July 14-23). She also managed a championship record of 32.29m.

The silver and bronze medals went to Irish Niamh McCarthy (26.17m) and Tunisian Samar Ben Kaaleb (25. 83m) respectively.

Sixteen Tunisian athletes are participating in this championship. They are: Rim Abdelli, Nada Behi, Henia Aidi, Samia Bousaid, Fethia Amaimia, Samar Ben Kaaleb, Ismail Bouabid, Najeh Chouia, Yassine Gharbi, Maroua Brahmi, Raja Jebali, Mohamed Ali Krid, Walid Ktila, Abbes Saidi, Raouaa Tlili and Bilel Aloui.
