The National Council of the Order of Pharmacists of Tunisia (CNOPT) announced Wednesday the start of the application of the publication of the Ministry of Health authorising doctors, laboratories and pharmacists of the private sector to carry out rapid screening tests for the coronavirus.
The president of the CNOPT said in a statement to TAP that the council has begun sending data on health professionals concerned by this measure to create their own account on a digital platform created by the Ministry of Health.
An SMS will be sent to the voluntary health staff concerned by this step bearing the registration code on this digital platform, he stressed.
The purpose of the creation of this platform is to record the results of rapid tests and thus help identify positive cases, the same source added.
