Recruitment competition in oil companies of Tataouine to open on July 10

Minister of Vocational Training and Employment and Chairman of the Higher commission to follow up the implementation of the decisions announced by the Prime Minister for the benefit of the governorate of Tataouine Imed Hammami announced on Thursday that the recruitment competition in the oil companies of Tataouine for the month of July 2017 will open on 10 July.

In a statement to the press shortly before the start of the regular meeting of the commission to follow up the implementation of the decisions announced on 27 April 2017 by the Prime Minister for the benefit of the governorate of Tataouine, Hammami said that the calendar of recruitment in the oil companies provides for 100 recruitments during the month of July, 150 in September and 150 in October.

He added that there are plans to create one thousand jobs in 2017 and 500 in 2018.

The opening date of the recruitment competition in the oil companies and that concerning the payment of the subsidy to the sports union of Tataouine will be communicated at the end of the meeting which is currently held at the headquarters of the ministry, Hammami said.

So far more than 11 thousand jobseekers have been registered in the recruitment contest at the Company of Environment and Gardening for only 1,500 job positions available for the year 2017, said the same source.

The final deadline for applications is 14 July and the final list of candidates will be announced on 1 September 2017, the minister said.

In his answer to a question on how to overcome the conflict between the two sit-in parties, Tataouine and El Kamour, Hammami said that as a representative of the Government he is working to find a compromise between the two clans to make the interest of the region and the nation prevail, ensuring that representativeness of the delegations and not the sit-in participants is guaranteed.
