Reform of Education System Should Occupy its True Place in Societal Project (Minister)

Speaking at the closing panel of the 2nd National Conference on Human Development, organized under the patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, Benmoussa stressed that the ability of learners, regardless of their territorial environment, to acquire essential skills, allows them to integrate into social life.

The development of human capital through a quality school, is inevitably through the generalization of pre-school education and the strengthening of essential skills, including reading, writing, programming and calculation, he noted in a video statement, ensuring that the Ministry has established a roadmap for educational development that determines the priorities of the 2022-2026 period, and which aims to direct efforts towards measures that directly impact the learner.

In this regard, Benmoussa recalled the consultations launched by the Ministry of National Education, Preschool Learning and Sports, on the draft roadmap as part of the participatory approach, noting that the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) has contributed greatly to improving the quality of the education system and the implementation of the priorities of the roadmap.

The INDH contributes to the strengthening of social and educational support services through its program dedicated to encouraging success and addressing the root causes of school dropout in poor and vulnerable environments, he underlined, adding that it strengthens the cognitive abilities and skills of primary school students, in partnership with the provincial directorates of the Ministry.
