The bureau of the Parliament decided to modify the agenda of the plenary sessions of June 29 and 30, 2021, by cancelling the examination of the issue of the refusal, by President Kais Saied to initial the law on the Constitutional Court.
The MPs will focus, during these plenary sessions, on the draft law on the regulation of domestic work, the draft law n° 64/2018 setting the criteria for the division of electoral districts and the number of their seats and the draft organic law n°005/2020 on the approval of a headquarters agreement between the government of the Tunisian Republic and the Qatar Development Fund on the opening of an office for the Qatar Development Fund in Tunisia.
The parliament bureau also decided to organise a plenary session on July 6 and 7 to examine the draft law 130/2020 authorising the State to subscribe to the capital increase of the Société Tunisie-autoroutes and the draft law 014/2021 approving the world convention for the recognition of qualifications in higher education.
The draft law 153/2020 on the approval of the guarantee agreement concluded on August 16, 2020, between the Government of the Tunisian Republic and the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development as the manager of the special account, for the financing of small and medium enterprises in the private sector, relating to the loan granted to the Tunisian Banking Company, for the contribution to the financing of small and medium projects in the private sector in the Tunisian Republic is also on the agenda.
Also on the agenda is the draft law 104/2020 relating to the revival of the economy, the integration of the parallel sector and the fight against tax fraud.
On another level, the ARP bureau decided to hold a plenary session on July 8 and 9 to elect the remaining members of the Constitutional Court as well as the members of the Authority for Good Governance and the Fight against Corruption and the Human Rights Authority, in addition to the renewal of half of the composition of the Authority for Access to Information.
During a plenary session scheduled for July 12, 13, 14 and 15, MPs will discuss the decision to deploy a military unit in the Central African Republic under the auspices of the United Nations, in accordance with Article 77 of the Constitution. The examination of the draft water code is on the agenda.
