Regional Days of Sustainable Digital Trust November 29 to December 1

Tunisia is hosting from November 29 to December 1, 2022 the Regional Days of Digital Trust on the theme: “cooperation to strengthen the climate of trust and security towards the construction of a sustainable digital future” held by the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organisation (AICTO).

 

This event is part of AICTO’s ongoing efforts to boost Joint Arab Action and interregional and global cooperation in the field of safety and security of technological transformations at strategic, technical and organisational levels, said Director General of AICTO, Mohamed Ben Amor.

 

This is an opportunity to bring together all stakeholders operating in the ICT sector to coordinate efforts and work together to strengthen a climate of trust and security to build a sustainable digital future.

 

The three-day event will focus on different themes. The first day will be dedicated to the 2nd edition of the Arab High Level Forum on Cybersecurity and the launch of the Arab Strategy for Cybersecurity.

 

The second day will be dedicated to the 3rd edition of the Inter-regional Forum on Digital Trust and Standardization. It will focus on ways to strengthen mutual recognition and interoperability between Arab and other countries in digital trust services, mainly digital signature.

 

Specialised trainings in the field of digital trust and standardization, led by Arab and international experts as well as meetings of the working groups of the organisation’s project: “The Regional Network for Digital Trust” will be on the agenda of the third day.

 

This meeting will be attended by ministers from Arab countries and the participation of high-level delegations of heads of Arab and regional authorities and organisations, as well as prominent experts in cybersecurity and digital trust.
