Minister of Religious Affairs Ibrahim Chaïbi met in Jeddah with Saudi Minister of Haj and Umrah Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah.

The meeting focused on the privileged relations betwen the two countries and ways to boost them, particularly in connection to Haj and Umrah pilgrimage, the ministry said in a press release.

Chaïbi also attended the inauguration of the Haj and Umrah fair, held March 21-23 in Jeddah to showcases innovative services offered to pilgrims.

He was invited to participate in the making of the Kaaba’s Kiswah – the holy site’s cover- during the upcoming Hajj.
