“The decision of Madrid adds to the support of the Moroccan autonomy initiative within the international community and constitutes a rejection of separatist aims and theses that threaten regional peace and stability,” said the president of the Association, Moises Amselem Elbaz, in a statement sent to MAP.

The Spanish decision marks a new era in bilateral relations between the two countries, based on the principles of “trust, transparency, mutual respect and commitments,” he added.
