President of the Republic Kaïs Saïed stressed at a meeting with Minister of Trade and Export Development Mohamed Bousaid Wednesday the need to fight all forms of speculation and monopoly of products and goods, calling to enforce price compliance.

The Head of State visited the headquarters of the Ministry of Trade and Export Development in Tunis. He also said no leniency will be shown towards those who try to get their hands on the livelihood of Tunisians.

He called on all parties involved to show patriotism and sense of responsibility in this phase of Tunisia’s history and undertake to lower prices.
