correspondent/Wided Medfai) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Othman Jerandi reaffirmed, Monday in Riyadh, the support of the Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salmane, to the “exceptional” measures taken by President Kais Saied since July 25, saying Saudi Arabia will stand by Tunisia during the next stage, in all areas.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the first edition of the Green Middle East Initiative Summit held on October 25 and 26, 2021 in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, the minister added that “Saudi Arabia follows with great interest the development of the situation in Tunisia and will help it restore its stability.”
“Instructions have been given on the technical level to carry out the ongoing talks between the two countries in many areas, he said, adding that these talks are expected to materialise into action in the coming days.”
In addition, Jerandi reaffirmed the support of the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait to the “exceptional” measures taken by President Kais Saied, announcing the establishment soon of a joint commission between the two parties, to discuss cooperation and investment issues.
