Serviceman killed, two others wounded in helicopter crash

A serviceman was killed and two others injured as a national army helicopter crashed on Wednesday shortly after taking off from the Bouficha military base in Sousse governorate, the National Defence ministry said in its latest report.

The 41 year-old victim, native of Thala “died of his wounds in Nabeul’s regional hospital, spokesperson for the Defence Ministry Belhassan Oueslati told TAP.

According to Nabeul’s Regional Health Director Sami Rekik, the other two servicemen “are still in critical condition”.
