Sfax-Paris line to resume with 3 weekly flights as from October 30

National carrier (Tunisair)’s Sfax-Paris regular flights will again be operational as from October 30 with three weekly flights.

Tunisair will devote, for the first time, three weekly flights on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Tunisair’s Regional Representative Issam Kchaou said, recalling that the national carrier provided only one or two flights per week before suspending its activities in October 2013.

The new line will replace the flight currently organised by Tunisair Express (a subsidiary of Tunisair) while offering preferential and promotional fees and increasing its capacity (passengers), from 87 to 126 seats, the same source added.

The flight departing from Sfax-Thyna Airport will be conducted at 7 a.m. and the return flight is set at 8:25 p.m. of the same day.

Kchaou denied any relationship between the launch of the new line by Tunisiair and the relaunch of Syphax Airlines’ activities also set in October.

The air transport of the Sfax-Thyna Airport is currently limited for flights toward Tripoli’s Mitiga airport (Libya).
