Sidi Bou Said to host 5th edition of KidsFest, April 15

A 5th edition of KidsFest Tunisia That’s life will be organised on April 15 in Sidi Bou Said under the patronage of the Sidi Bou Said Municipality.

KidsFest was launched in Tunisia in 2014 by the Kamar Association.

In 2016, KidsFest had its 1st Italian edition in Caccuri (province of Cotone) and the network between Kidsfest countries is strengthening, given the partnership binding Sidi Bou Said and Caccuri.

The programme this year will focus on 5 major points: The Kids Parade will offer a colorful parade by kids in Sidi Bou Said with colorful outfits created by them (disguises, costumes, banners, masks, makeup). Kids World is designed to be an international cultural buffet, a space for the associations, embassies, various organisations, sponsors, artists, etc. creating a wide range of activities for kids.

Kids Stage consists in an improvised performance by young artists, offering a space for them to showcase their talents.

The Kids Cinema allows kids to watch a film on a big screen and share with the other children a moment of magic as part of an interactive workshop offered in collaboration with the French Institute of Tunisia (IFT) and the school of cinema.

Finally, the Kids Relax offers the opportunity to share the nice images and strong impressions of the KidsFest during a few minutes of calm.

KidsFest Tunisia is drawn on the Kids Festival in Sarajevo conceived after the war to contribute to build peace with and around children and to make them experience art and creativity.
