Sidi Bouzid Court of First Instance chosen as court of reference

The Sidi Bouzid Court of First Instance has been chosen as the court of reference among ten other courts selected in Tunisia, said Thursday Public Prosecutor Abdessatar Khelifi.

This ranking was made as part of co-operation between Tunisia and the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice, in compliance with international standards in matters of the quality of justice, development of the judicial system and recognition of the principle of human rights, the same source added in a statement to TAP.

Thus, a delegation of the court of first instance of Sidi Bouzid visited France in order to learn about the European expertise in the management of judicial time and the organisation of access to the courts.

Following this visit, it was agreed to organise training sessions for the benefit of judges, court clerks and journalists, to digitise trials and provide computer equipment.

The Sidi Bouzid Court of First Instance has been chosen as the court of reference among ten other courts selected in Tunisia, said Thursday Public Prosecutor Abdessatar Khelifi.
