In the governorate of Sidi Bouzid, two people have died from the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing to 970 the number of deaths linked to the pandemic in the region, Regional Deputy Director of Basic Health Care, Béchir Saidi, told TAP on Saturday.

Furthermore, 231 additional cases of infection have been detected in the region where the number of positive cases has reached 38, 245 cases since the spread of the epidemic, including 3, 380 patients recovered from the infection.

According to the same source, three Covid patients have been hospitalised, bringing the current number of infected patients admitted to hospitals in the region to 39.
