Sidi Bouzid-Covid: New measures to fight against spread of virus in Souk Jedid

Governor of Sidi Bouzid, Mohamed Sedki Bouaoun announced, on Friday, a new series of measures to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus in the delegation of Souk Jedid.
These measures, which apply from Friday, June 18 until July 2, include the ban on the use of chairs and tables in cafes and restaurants, the temporary suspension of all sports and cultural activities as well as prayers in mosques, including the Friday prayer.
These new measures were decided during the periodic meeting of the committee for the fight against natural disasters and the organisation of relief in Sidi Bouzid, the same source told TAP.
The delegation of Souk Jedid, with 518 cases of contamination, ranks seventh in the region in terms of the number of positive cases discovered, including 91 cases recorded during the last two weeks.
