A dozen startups and very small enterprises (VSEs) will participate in the Tunisian Village of Innovation. The event will be held on the sidelines of SITIC AFRICA ABIDJAN 2022, the 6th edition of the International Exhibition for Information and Communication Technologies (May 30-June 1, 2022).
The Ministry of Communication Technologies launched a call for applications to select ten startups which boast innovative technological products or services adapted to the African market in relation mainly to finance, agriculture, health, education, transport and energy.
Products and services will be appraised and selected based on such criteria as relevance and originality, degree of innovation, the economic model, market size and growth potential as well as the quality of the application submitted (Business plan , Promotional video…).
SITIC AFRICA is held for the first time outside Tunisia. It is organised by Tunisie Afrique Export, a Tunisian export consulting business, and Net Opportunity, a French export consulting business in Africa, in collaboration with several Tunisian, Ivorian and foreign partners.
This event will offer the opportunity to display African and international digital novelties with special focus on new 5G novelties, Internet of Things (IoT), BigData, Industry 4.0. Over 250 Tunisian, African, Arab and foreign exhibitors will attend this edition.
The agenda includes B2B meeting, fora and workshops on relevant topics in Africa and Western countries.
Over 1,800 businesses are operating in the digital sector in Tuniia . They generate 80,000 jobs and contribute 11% to the gross domestic product.
