Political parties which supported the measures taken on July 25, 2021, by the President of the Republic Kais Saied will hold, on Friday, for the second consecutive day a consultative meeting, said Secretary-General of “Tunisia Forward” movement Abid Briki.

The six political parties are Tunisia Forward movement, Echaab movement, the Popular Current, Coalition for Tunisia, Al Baath party and the Socialist Democratic Patriotic Party which backed the President’s July 25 measures decided that “the meeting remains open to all other parties with share the same position,” Briki told TAP.

According to the six parties, these measures meet the citizens’ demands they have put forward over the past 10 years, adding that they fully support the decisions of the President of the Republic, yet they call for forming a government as soon as possible so as to address urgent economic, financial and security issues.
