Esperance sportive de Zarzis secured promotion to the national soccer League 1, after defeating JS Kairouan 2-0, at a playoffs day-2 game played on Wednesday afternoon in Sahline.

Being alone in the lead with six points at the end of this second day and given the draw on which ended the other match between Stade Tunisien and CO Medenine, ES Zarzis can not be joined.

The ES Zarzis had defeated Stade Tunisien (1-0) at the first day of the playoffs.
