Sousse governorate receives British lifesaving equipment donation

Sousse governorate, on Thursday, received a British donation of 24 bags of lifesaving equipment.

At a ceremony held on the occasion, Ambassador of the United Kingdom in Tunisia, Louise De Sousa, distributed donations to the National Guard, Security and Civil Protection units as well as to a number of hotels in the region.

Similar donations will be offered to the governorates of Nabeul and Medenine, the diplomat said, adding that the initiative is part of the Tunisian-British co-operation in preventing accidents and combating terrorist attacks.

She added that the British aid to Tunisia has reached about 32 million dinars, from the beginning of the current year.
