Speaking at the opening of the Morocco-Israel Tourism Investment Summit, Ammor highlighted the efforts that have led the Kingdom to establish a “strong” and “resilient” tourism industry that attracts the world’s most prestigious international operators, including those from the Middle East.

During this virtual event, the minister highlighted the various advances in cooperation with Israel, including the recent launch of the first direct flight between Casablanca and Tel Aviv.

For his part, the Israeli Minister of Tourism, Yoel Razvozov, welcomed the privileged relations between Morocco and Israel, stressing that the various actions carried out as part of the cooperation between Morocco and Israel have made the Abraham Agreements “a concrete reality.”

Razvozov then referred to the many business opportunities in the sector of tourism in Israel, expressing the disposal of his ministry to support the requests of Moroccan investors.

He also announced a forthcoming visit to Morocco during which he will discuss with his counterpart the various ways to strengthen this cooperation.

Organized by the Moroccan Society of Tourism Engineering (SMIT), in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy and its Israeli counterpart, this major event aims to promote investment opportunities between the regions of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
