The Swiss embassy in Tunis announced the opening of applications for young Tunisians active in scientific fields to partake in the 6th Middle East Mediterranean MEM Summer Summit.
The participation in this summit, to be held on August 17-26 in Lugano (Switzerland), is open for youths aged between 25 and 35 with diverse educational backgrounds and work experience (business, media, human rights, non-governmental organisations, politics, technology, culture, art, entertainment, creative industries, social entrepreneurship, education, and research) and interested and willing to collaborate on across border projects with participants coming from all over the region, reads an embassy press release.
The MEM Summer Summit is organised by the Università della Svizzera italiana, in collaboration with the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Division of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and aims to develop new approaches, different narratives, as well as new projects that transcend physical and cultural boundaries between communities on all shores of the MEM region.
It further aims to create a safe space for the young change-makers to meet, to exchange experiences, to collaborate and to build a common understanding.
The deadline is set for April 30.
