International sports facilities in Tabarka and Ain Drahem, Jendouba, provide teams with warm-ups in Tunisia with top services at a competitive cost compared to European centres, said local tourism commissioner Isaa Marouani.
The official urged teams to warm up in centres in Ain Drahem, Hammam Bourguiba and Tabarka as they provide modern equipment in line with international standards.
Tabarka, Ain Drahem and Hammam Bourguiba are currently accommodating several local teams in addition to teams from Algeria and Gulf countries ahead of the 2022/2023 season in a bid to rebuild their reputation in sports tourism, Marouani further told TAP.
“Sports tourism has a genuine impact on the diversification of products and the promotion of tourism. It also helps improve the region’s indicators as a destination par excellence for sports and tourism,” he added.
