The local health directorate reported Friday one more COVID-19 death in Tataouine during the last 24 hours and 23 new infections. This takes the total number of infections to 12,206, including 478 fatalities.

The new positive cases are distributed as follows: 8 cases in North Tataouine, 7 in Ghomrassen, 4 in Bir Lahmar, 10 in Béni Mhira, 1 case in South Tataouine and another in Dehiba.

Ten patients are currently staying in the local hospital of Tataouine and 3 others in the local hospital of Ghomrassen.
