Thirty Saudi businessmen to take part in Tunisian-Saudi Economic Forum

Thirty Saudi businessmen will participate in the Tunisian-Saudi Economic Forum scheduled for July 27, on the fringes of the 9th session of the Tunisian-Saudi Joint Commission, according to a Development, Investment and International Co-operation Ministry press release Monday.

Financial co-operation agreements and memoranda of understanding will be signed during works of the Joint Commission which will be officially opened on July 28 by Development, Investment and International Co-operation Minister Fadhel Abdelkefi and Saudi Trade and Investment Minister Madjed Abdullah Al Qassabi, the same source specified.

The Tunisian-Saudi Economic Forum will be organised by the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency, the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts, The Tunisian-Saudi Business Council and the Council of Saudi Chambers.

Saudi Arabia undertook through the Saudi Fund for Development at the Tunisia 2020 Investment Conference (November 29-30, 2016), to donate US $ 500 million for the development of investment, $ 85 million for the construction of a hospital in Kairouan, $ 15 million for maintenance work at the Okba Ibn Nafaa Mosque and $ 200 million for stepping up Saudi exports to Tunisia.
