Three parties file petition against President, PM and three ministers

Ettakatol, Al-Joumhouri and the Democratic Current (Attayar) said they filed a petition to the first president of the Court of Auditors against the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister and three ministers to inform of offences of «mismanagement of public funds and abuse of power.»

Secretaries general of these parties and a representative of independent national personalities, on Tuesday, filed this petition following the closure of the headquarters of House of People’s Representatives (ARP), the National Anti-Corruption Authority (INLUCC) and the Bardo Museum for an unjustified reason, said a joint statement by these political parties.

Employees of these institutions have been denied access to their offices, while they still receive their salaries, the statement added.

The petition is over «mismanagement of public money, abuse of power and violations of administrative procedures» against President Kais Saied, PM Najla Bouden, Finance Minister Sihem Boughdiri Nemsia, Interior Minister Taoufik Charfeddine and Culture Minister Hayet Ketat Guermazi.
