Tunisian athletes Walid Ktila and Raouaa Tlili will be Tunisia’s flag bearers at the opening ceremony of Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games (August 24-September 5), the National Paralympic Committee said.
This decision was unanimous as both athletes had not previously the honor to bear the Tunisian flag, in addition to their performance and numerous feats in major international paralymic events, Persident of the commitee Mahmoud Mazoughi told TAP.
Tunisia will be represented by 26 athletes (14 women and 12 men).
Tunisia will participate – for the first time since 1988- in three different disciplines (athletics, table tennis and triathlon).
