His countryman Hatem Nasrallah failed to compete for health reasons.
The gold went to Spain’s Yassine Ouhdadi El Ataby (14:34.13), the silver to Australia’s Jarres Clifford (14:35.52) and the bronze to the Russian Paralympic Committee (RPC)’s Aleksandr Kostin (14:37.42).
