Tourist receipts up 28.3% as of April 10
Tourism receipts have increased by 28.3%, until April 10, to 530.8 million dinars against 413.6 MD during the same period of 2017 according to figures released Thursday by the Prime Ministry.
The number of over-night stays spent by non-residents increased by 36.9% until the end of March 2018 compared to the same quarter of 2017.
The number of European tourist arrivals went up by 51.4% while that of Maghreb tourists grew 17.4%.
According to the same source, Tunisia saw the entry of 1.3 million non-resident visitors during the first quarter of 2018, up 19% compared to 2017.
