Towards introducing paramedical specialities in private vocational training schools

Secretary of State for Training and Private Initiative Saida Ounissi indicated on Friday that her department is currently reviewing the possibility to introduce new paramedical speciality in private vocational training centres.

This measure can be taken given the fact that the ministry has received numerous job offers in this sector at the national and international levels, she explained during the opening of a national conference held in Tunis for vocational training structures.

Challenges of the public finances have negatively affected the budget allocated to private vocational training, she pointed out.

On this occasion, students enrolled in private vocational training schools called for the need to include paramedical specialities and to review the high budget allocated to vocational training.

Head of the National Chamber of Private Vocational Training Structures Rached Chelli notably indicated that the Training Ministry has allocated 1.3 million dinars to train 1,380 youths in private training schools.
