Governor of Tozeur, Mohamed Aymen Bejaoui said Friday that a working team representing “Transavia” company , affiliated to “Air France” has visited the region to examine the possibility of opening an airline between Tozeur and Paris.
On this occasion, the delegation visited the Tozeur-Nefta airport to learn about its capacity to accommodate international flights and examine the improvements that have been made recently, said the same source, referring to the possibility of launching a Tozeur-Paris route in October 2022.
According to the same source, it was agreed at the end of this visit to conduct a feasibility study involving all parties involved in the reopening of international routes to the Tozeur-Nefta airport and support economic development in the region.
